Commissioned by Dura Vermeer Renovation and Maintenance Mid-West and in collaboration with KAAN Architecten, KOLEN delivered and installed natural stone at De Walvis in Amsterdam. Apart from the concrete supporting structure, the building has been completely renovated. The renovation met the latest techniques and sustainable requirements. This building has been in use since 2020 and the 10,400 m2 is used every day.

De Walvis is an office building on Bickerseiland located on the Grote Bickerstraat. Bickerseiland is one of Amsterdam's liveliest western islands. Living, working and relaxing come together in these areas.
